Angels Road - Prologue

This EP is the prologue to a larger story project, Angels Road. Unlike many of my releases where the theme stays abstract, the concept here is directly tied to the way the record is shaped.

It is another tape-focused project, but not in the same way as earlier tape releases. The focus is not noise or degradation by necessity; it is about carefully using tape to add warmth and a specific strange layer to the sound.

I use multiple decks from my cassette collection for this project. It is one of the most enjoyable workflows for me right now, and I like the uneasy tone this first release sets up.
