Permanent (2023)

Permanent was made in 2023 and released later in 2025. Like much of my 2022–2023 work, it was originally made for myself, not for release.

This is a cassette-sourced release because some original digital files were missing, and the tape master was the most complete version. The sound reflects my 2023 direction: avoiding generic structures, combining warmer synth-based pieces with colder, mechanical tracks, and putting strong focus on rhythm and texture.

Unlike some of my more ambient texture-based work, this album leans heavily on movement and rhythmic detail. A lot of the character comes from digital distortion and older time-stretch behavior rather than overdrive or sample manipulation.

Twist, Align, Twist, Turn ends with an early version of OUTRO from Ferrochrome. For this release, I only adjusted sequence and gain where needed. No noise reduction or EQ cleanup was applied.
